The company is investing $42 million to launch the new lines, resulting in the creation of 44 new jobs.

TTI is investing $85 million in capital investment which will create at least 216 new jobs in Anderson, South Carolina.

An $11.1 million investment at the Alliance Industrial Park in Anderson will allow EuWe Eugen Wexler US Plastics, Inc., to produce plastic interior parts and is the first American production facility for German EuWe Group, a supplier to 10 of the world’s largest automakers. The facility is expected to create 49 new jobs. Hiring will begin in the second quarter of 2016 and full production is expected by 2017.

Rite Aid announced plans to build a 900,000-square-foot distribution center in Spartanburg. The new center is expected to employ nearly 600 people and will support the inventory and fulfillment needs of approximately 1,000 Rite Aid stores in the Southeastern United States. The Spartanburg distribution center, a $90 million project, will be Rite Aid’s first new distribution facility in 15 years.

Kiswire Inc., a manufacturer of steel cord and bead wire, commenced the second phase of its Newberry County expansion. This phase, a $30 million investment, is expected to result in 45 new jobs in Newberry, SC. The first phase of Kiswire Inc. Steel Cord Division represented a $15 million investment and 30 new jobs, which came to fruition when production began at its new manufacturing site in December 2013.

Department store retailer Belk, Inc., announced in July, 2014 the expansion of its Union County e-commerce distribution and fulfillment center operations for the second time since establishing there in mid-June 2012. The $47 million investment will expand the facility footprint by 50 percent and add 20 new jobs, which will grow the company’s Jonesville presence to 314 employees.

Fruit of the Loom announced plans to expand the company’s Berkeley County distribution center to help service Fruit of the Loom’s growing e-commerce and intimates businesses.
